Center Hill Lake

I saw blue skies and got excited and took off for the lake. Waters are about 5' + higher then when I was last there. Lot of shore line trees under water. Clarity was about 2-3 feet in some areas and not too much debris, just small stuff and was on the far side.

Speaking of the lake... the witch stole my hat (stop laughing) It wasn't just any hat.. it was my new Bass Pro hat  I even removed it and thought I sat on it, back tracked and tried to find it, twice, sigh... She tried to take one of my new jigs but I managed to retrieve it. I have come to the conclusion that she requires an offering and if you fail to give her on... she'll take it from you.

Those spill gates will most likely open this weekend.

I can't help but to think that any fish near the dam will be washed down river all the way to Alabama

How was the fishing? Any luck?

The lake is up more than you thought. Its up 17 feet in the last 4 days.

Looks like they're holding water to alleviate flooding downstream.

I said 5'+ but that was because I felt foolish to suggest higher than that considering Center Hill is a 19 mile lake that is 200' deep in some areas. I find it mind boggling how much water it would take to cause a lake of this magnitude to raise so much.

I imagine Tenn is working with Alabama and MS so not to flood them out too
