Lews

I have to really give Lews a thumbs up. I just purchased my 3rd Lews, 2nd Tournament MB, yesterday. Tomorrow is the last day of the special offers and both my Tourn MB's qualify for a long sleeve micro fiber shirt. Anyhow I called customer service today to find out about claiming 2 identical reels 6 mos apart and the fact I bought both reels on Amazon. (They don't honor promotional items from eBay and other auction sites).

I was on hold for less than a minute before someone picked up... It was a American lady, not someone from across the pond and she was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to speak with.

Speaking of Lews reels... If you guys remember when I first arrived to this site 8 mos ago, I was fighting to cast without some kind of backlash or birds nest... Now days I'm able to cast almost a full spool with only 1 internal pin set. I'm now learning how to pitch :D

I like it when a company has good customer service. Do right by your customers and they will never betray or leave you even if they can find a better value somewhere else. Personally I'm a very loyal customer to the brands I like.

I have had bad luck with Lew's products, I don't have any high end Lews stuff but really afraid to go high end with all the trouble I've had with their other reels and now a rod, been through 3 spinning reels, one baitcaster and the reel seat just broke on a newer rod, really weird is in the last two years every piece of equip that has broken on me has been a Lews , not sure if I'm unlucky or its a trend
