There was a 7.4 caught in last weeks tournament (they had 11+ in just 2 fish!) and another guy that wasn't in the deal but fished with us had one that was 8.3.... I had zero keepers... Disappointing to say the least...

It’s been very disappointing. This week I’m trying different techniques. Obviously what I’ve been doing ain’t working. So I’ve got to eliminate more stuff 😒

In the same boat as well, every time I've been out it almost seems like a waste... Hope this fall brings some good fishing.

spottedbass 08-13-2018 10:52 AM

Not Skillet but water temps were 81-82 in the Cages Bend area yesterday morning.

That fish was 15.5 inches. Water temps were 84 around just past drakes creek out in the channel. Bite has been tough.

Yep, getting a STD at an old age is like fishing . You just have to take care of your equipment. Especially your rod.

What isn't said is that its his private pond that he has stocked with trophy Bass... Not hard to catch big fish that you keep hungry

Flatline 08-16-2018 04:20 PM

I think you need to take me fishing with you, this way I'll be in a prone position to offer you $100 for your boat when you feel disgusted again :D
