Great workout for the Ultra Light.
 

The bite was almost nonexistent today below and above Nickajack Dam. However I did land these two hogs when they hit a Bison colored Trout Magnet. While catching Buffalo is not my idea of a good specie to be catching I felt it quite an accomplishment to land these two fish using the Tict Ice Cube UL rod with SOS 2# test line with an 18 inch section of 2# test fluorocarbon leader. They fought hard in the current below the dam. The Daiwa Certate drag worked flawlessly.......I had the Tict Ice Cube almost bent double putting pressure on these fish......and the SOS 2# test line held with both fish making several drag screaming runs. The larger of the 2 fish.......the one next to the measuring board.......I am guessing was around 10 pounds or better. The other one in the net was not too far behind. Going to try again tomorrow.
