Chances of Caney Being Fishable Sat?

Hey Y'all,

I'm taking my two young boys camping this weekend at Edgar Evins (Saturday night). It will be sweltering but I refuse to cancel.

With all the rain we've been having the Caney is running two generators today from midnight to midnight.

Do y'all think there's a chance they'll shut them off for a spell on Saturday? I called Caney Fork Outdoors and they said "no chance". Was hoping to wade with my sons to cool off and fish. I'd prefer not to try my hand fishing Center Hill, which, though beautiful, has never produced a fish for me. Wondering if there are any shore fishing opportunities there too.

Any info appreciated.

I fish that river once or twice a week for the last 8 years and I say there is no chance they will shut them off.

No chance for Saturday...possible windows for Sunday. The predicted outflows for Great Falls (upstream from Center Hill) come down on Sunday.

Thanks, y'all. I rented a bass boat for a little bit in the late afternoon and will see if I can hustle up some bass on Center Hill. Got the fly rod (sinking line) and texas-rigged worms etc.

Thank you, sir. Gonna try fishing for 2 hours on Center Hill today. Unfortunately, it will be during the hottest time of the day. Will toss Texas-rigged worms at the bank and under docks. Worst case scenario, we'll have night crawlers and some soft hackle flies, which always catch bluegill.
