Tuesday hybrids

I was headed to a spot where we had caught fish on Sunday when I saw birds hovering.
Cruised that direction, watched my Humminbird Helix 12 g2n SI Mega graph and saw a herd of fish about 80 ft off my starboard side.
I started setting trolling rods out and as I put the fourth one out, a rod started jumping. Grabbed that one and watched three more rods commence to bucking.
Had some pandemonium for about 45 minutes, catching, photographing, weighing, and releasing fish.
First group gave up some 9+ lb'ers. One went 9.9 lbs.
Then I caught a 33 inch 18 lb rockfish, Long and skinny.
Finished the morning with 27 hybrids, 4 white bass and one rockfish. Not a bad morning at all.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d078086318.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...77e49e7332.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...79120b39df.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8648c9166e.jpg

Way to go Merv. That rockfish doesn't look too skinny to me! Great job.

Water temp is stuck on 44 degrees. Some bays were still 42!

Nope, didn't have the lake to myself.
I have two friends that fish about 5 days a week and they usually know where the fish are. I was headed to where they were fishing when I found my fish.
As soon as I started catching fish, I called them and told them where I was, to come on over.
They showed up a little while later and immediately started whackin fish too.
Our boats are fairly well known and some folks just ride around until they find us and then they fish that area too.
We had a total of four more boats join us.
The fish moved after about two hours of being hammered.
I moved to another part of the lake, found more fish and continue catching until it was time for me to go.
