Making your own skirting
 

I'm curious as to who makes their own skirting for spinners using LUMAFLEX Skirt Material ? If so what is your favorite colors..



I went ahead and made white and white/black. I also have purple to mix with black

I have made skirts for jigs and spinnerbaits. For the spinnerbaits I liked the white, white and chartreuse and I liked the bluegill colors too. A little orange, green and chartreuse. For flipping jigs I like the natural colors like green pumpkin, watermelon, and an all white. I haven't tied any for years as I now mostly fish for crappie. That might change soon as I am getting the urge to fish for bass again. I might add that I like the living rubber in cold water conditions.

I'm sold on the living rubber now to. I've never really gave it much thought until I watched a fishing show with Rick Clunn. He was using living rubber on a spinnerbait and they showed some under water footage. That thing had awesome movement when he was just reeling it straight in.

I like the round rubber, that stuff just comes alive in the water.
