New Powell Endurance

Has anyone bought one of the new Powell Endurance rods? I love the Powell Max 3d line of rods. I've got quite a few of them. They are strong well built rods that hold up to the beating that I put them through. They also have a great no questions warranty. Well Powell has discontinued that rod and brought back the Endurance line. I bought one and I gotta say I'm not so impressed. They don't feel as "indestructible" as the Max 3d line. Also they have a much softer action. I got the 7'3" MH XF action to use as a casting jig rod. It feels more like a medium moderate action rod. It almost feels like a 3/8 ounce jig is too big. Maybe a Heavy action will be better. This is just my 2 cents if anyone is thinking about buying one.

I have an Inferno, Max3D, and a Nuisance from Powell and I like them all, the lightest rods with the most backbone I've ever owned.
