Up around bledsoe it happened too, acres of shad flipping out the water being chased by whites and stripes right when it got dark, bats were even coming out flying around the water like it was sunset pretty cool, next one is in 2024 and we will have totality around reelfoot lake and the Mississippi.

Center Hill. Nothing changed from last Wednesday except after eclipse bait balls went deep and saw no top action not even gar. Insects and birds hushed in the back of The creek and saw a group of wood ducks fly over. 10 minutes after totality the insects started again. My chickens laid the least amount of eggs since 15 a day in spring got 6 eggs.

That did not happen at Tims Ford.

I fished the river during the eclipse. I was throwing topwater like crazy....no takers. :o

WOW! Haven't heard from you in more than a year and now you show up after this phenomenon. Should we expect to hear from you again in 2024?

Yeah I'm still alive but don't do much fishing anymore. Sold my boat to a member on this forum last year, and didn't even get a license till a few weeks ago so I could fish with one of my coworkers. I still lurk here from time to time to see how you guys are doing though.
