Why'd everyone have to be so tight lipped at the show last weekend? No those are some Leland Lures I would definitely stock up on.

RUGER 02-12-2015 12:55 PM

Oh my...........

My rat hole money is gonna be gone for sure now.

MNfisher 02-12-2015 12:57 PM

Gonna get a few of those shallow ones. What colors do they come in?

Mike

Travis C. 02-12-2015 01:08 PM

Sweet! That color there will be just fine...

How long?

XxthejuicexX 02-12-2015 02:12 PM

Of course I am going to ask, what makes them so special ?

Jeremy, Jeff doesn't like to put out a product until he has it hand. These have been a while in the making and while I had a little input into doing this it was browntrout who really pushed this. These were made from the mold of the old XCalibur XT suspending jerk bait. Jeff bought the mold. Roy and I had great luck with these on the Caney catching brown tout. These things sold for 14 bucks a pop and nobody wanted to spend that much so XCalibur made a different, cheaper model. Roy and I bought up the ones we could find on the internet. Now they will be available again but in Jeff's Trout Cranks colors....which I think are better colors.

Tell Jeff don't sell any to Juice. :D

XxthejuicexX 02-12-2015 02:48 PM

The body style does look familiar. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...a567c51b46.jpg

I fail to see the similarity to the lure and the big ass in the photo.

I can't answer the question, however they have already caught a few fishermen. :)

Really good looking lures.

That is one of the best crankbaits that I have ever thrown for trout and smallmouth. I was turned onto them by a guy named Frank Saska (one of the best trout fisherman on the White River). I started using them on the Caney and it was the most fish catching lure I had ever used. When they went out Alpha and I bought all we could find. What will make this lure even better now is that with Jeffs paint on this lure it should even be better. He has the best paint of any lure that I have seen. I would also think they would be good in a lake like Dale Hollow where they have trout in the lake. Cant wait to try them......

$?

Are they going to be 17.50 also as I was looking at xcalibers today at Murfreesboro Outdoors and just would rather buy 3 inexpensive ones than
one that could become an ornament on a Submerged log.

No way. I don't know the pricing yet but I'm sure not even close to half that amount.

Should be in the $5 neighborhood.

For that price I will pick a few of them up. I have some Xcalibur and Lucky crafts and if I can find something similar for that price I will give it a shot. When will they be available?

TM gives more value per $ than any tackle company IMO.

A lot of companies pay so much for endorsements that they have to over price their lures. Any product with BD, KVD or others is usually expensive.
Roy and Alpha I hope you do not charge huge salaries like some celebrities. :)

I charge such a huge salary, that's why I have no sponsors :o

Andy,
You will be fine. I am using basically the same outfit.

Roy

Reel Tune 02-24-2015 12:12 AM

Do you have a weight on them? Wondering if I can throw them on 5lb line and on a rod rated for 1/32-1/4oz.

They weigh .35/ounce on my wife's food scale.

XxthejuicexX 02-24-2015 10:39 AM

When will the be available? I'm going to G-ville in march and love to throw Jerkbaits then.

TroutFiend 02-24-2015 11:42 AM

Looks like they are available now per the TM website.
Click on trout cranks tab;
3.5" and XD -(4") models.
So many colors such little funds! 😆

TroutFiend 02-24-2015 11:43 AM

Seriously though... Pricing looks great on them.

Alphahawk 02-24-2015 03:07 PM

Pricing is great on them. I have about 14 of those out on my shelf when they were made by XCalibur....don't even want to tell you what they cost me...LOL. I'm glad Leland's Lures bought the mold.
