Mercury Parts in Town?

I need Regulators for my Mercury 175 EFI Part # 854515
Is there a place in Nashville to pick up OEM Mercury Parts?
Serial number for motor is: 0G868708

Thanks.

If not available locally I would try Lawrenceburg Marine

Thanks for the Help guys. I just didn't want to be out of the water too long with the Striper bite being so good right now. I'm just over here twiddling my thumbs!

Adrian Have you checked with Riverside Marine in Old Hickory?

I guess I need to get on the phone in the morning. Looks like some good weather coming!

Adrian 11-02-2015 02:24 PM

Well, picking them up locally is looking dim. Guess I'll be Striper fishing from the Bank this week :)

I have a kayak you can borrow, :)

Halli 11-02-2015 06:44 PM

I can drop down to Lawrenceburg and bring them to Hermitage if they have it.

Adrian 11-02-2015 07:19 PM

Thanks Halli, I'll give them a call tomorrow. I struck out other places in town...

Adrian I sent you a pm on Saturday. They have the part.

Adrian 11-02-2015 08:28 PM

I didn't get a PM. I just checked again... BTW, I hope they have 2 of them...

Adrian 11-02-2015 10:25 PM

New Part #

BTW, Where can I get the Connectors to replace the ones I burned up. Specifically 3 Female Connectors. Also, the Part Number has changed to the New Style which is: 8M0084173

I'm tempted to try to make one more 3 mile trip in the boat, but I know that could be Bad... Next few days is supposed to be nice!

Just sent another pm.

I did not ask if they had 2 items.

Halli 11-03-2015 07:27 PM

Thanks Man, but hopefully it's in the mail headed this way... Fingers crossed.

Halli 11-04-2015 06:30 PM

Right on man.

Hope those things last a long time as I never even thought about them going bad. ...knocks on wood!

I buy most of my parts from here, always good and fast service - http://www.iboats.com/Outboard-Engin...view_id.268656

Adrian 11-06-2015 01:18 PM

The parts are on the way, just having a hard time finding Marine grade Bullet Connectors in town. WHY??????? Nashville Needs a Parts Store!

Halli 11-06-2015 07:12 PM

Try a Fastenal. Or Grainger supply will have them for sure.

Your in the Music Industry yeah, well stop at one of the Coach Bus shops and they will probably give them to ya.

Adrian 11-06-2015 08:36 PM

Good Idea. I know some bus folks... Thanks

When I was mechanicing on Mercs I would have to replace the rectifier with every regulator..and sometimes the Stator. If that occurs always go with the "RED Stator". AutoZone sells the waterproof connectors.

Adrian 11-09-2015 12:19 PM

I'm hoping I don't have to Touch the Stator. It visually checks out, & the regulators have inline fuses now so with any luck if the stator is too hot it will just burn a fuse, then I would address it. Like I said, Hopefully :) Thanks for the info.

Got both regulators mounted and replaced some burned connectors. Hooked the battery back up and put the motor on the muffs. I was pumping 14.5 to the battery. All Seems Good...
