I wanna name the rig “White Privilege” but my wife says it’s racist. I find it freaking hilarious!!! But I have warped sense of humor.

Dude what were your lucky numbers on that lottery ticket?? That's what it would take for me to be able to buy a Vexus.
|
Congrats! Is it true the fish always bite on a boat like that?

This boat rides like a fiberglass boat. It doesn’t have that hollow tin can sound, it’s solid. With the 115 it runs 50 on the nose with me, my tackle and rods, full tank of fuel. So far, with what little seat time I’ve had, I’m happy with the ride, handling and overall quality of the boat. I haven’t felt out of control in it and it won’t let me do anything stupid with the trim. It stops you so far up. Idk what’s up with that, probably a safety feature. I do have one complaint, I can’t run at 3500-4000rpms on plane without it porpoising. I’d like to talk to a Merc rep about a whale tale or what I can do about that. I may also have tried to trim it too much for that speed. Idk. What I do know is I need more seat time with the boat to figure out what it likes and what it is capable of. White Privilege is a joke me and a couple friends have amongst us. Anytime we buy something, could be a soft drink and we will make our little comments. But it’s obviously all white and my wife’s truck is white. Lol I called my Cajun “Hawg Snatcher” May name this one Hawg Snatcher II. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Porpoising
Skillet,
If the boat is porpoising with the engine trimmed all the way down, I'm not confident Merc will have good results for you. Might want to talk to the dealer and see about their cutting you a deal on trim tabs. A whale tale might work a bit, but it's a duct-tape solution on a beautiful new boat. It's in the dealer's interest to get that dialed in. With a 115 you're not overpowered or overweight; the light weight of the bow needs to be compensated, and the only way I know of to do it right is with tabs. Good Luck! |

Skillet was that you in the white Vexus Saturday morning at the mouth of Drake's Creek? I was fishing the mouth of Drake's when a white Vexus came by. I was in the red and white Lowe center console.

Yea that was me. My brother and I went to try some grass beds with no luck. Drakes was full of boats so we were trying to get out and away from all the traffic. Been more boats out this year than I have ever seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I was trying to find some bass out on some of the ledges. Did find some on a different ledge than Drake's Creek. No size to them though.
