Being an old timer we used to snatch suckers in the streams. If Merv will assist me by playing the part of the fish I will demonstrate how to properly do this (no real hooks of course). I am sure others are willing to be the fish, however agelessone is better qualified as he is the perfect sucker.

I will not under any circumstances assist Merv with the rigging of his bobbers or pole.

Thank goodness. I'm cool with all the playful banter and flirting between you two, but I draw the line at PDA :D

If we can agree upon shelter 8, and if we want to do that I'll front the money to a respected person if we can find one.

Jeremy

So what do I HAVE TO DO TO RESERVE IT..............WOODY

Reel Tune 02-07-2014 09:30 AM

If everyone agrees with the location I'll give you a call on the details. I'm waiting on more responses.

Totally agree Mr Randy!!, we all should pitch in!

Heiny57 02-07-2014 01:31 PM

I will kick in if I make it or not. Let me know how much and how to pay.

tkwalker 02-07-2014 01:41 PM

Do it !! <'TK><

Jeremy, you know my feelings on this ... H-ville sounds good with me but I really don't care ... I'll be there no matter where it is ... Also any short comings on the $$ I'll cover that also ...

You and Sarah do a heck of a job ... <'TK>< :)

Jdkxtreme 02-07-2014 02:02 PM

I'll chip in also

SAMBOLIE 02-07-2014 02:12 PM

Jeremy is stubborn. He refused to take any money last year.

I am chipping in this year or else.

You guys better let me hold the cash while you scrap. We don't want it getting dirty or lost in the wind!

Ditto on everything you said, Sambolie. I'm gonna bring a staple gun and staple my contribution to his forehead if he won't accept it.

JD's Smoker ???

What about the smoker ??? This needs to be lined up ... JD maybe you should have just donated it to the Site ... That way it would have always been dedicated to the Gatherings ... And any member could have checked it out to use ...

I bet pookie could whip up some great stuff with the Pecan .... <'TK>< :)

PS Pookie I still want some wood .... :D

Reel Tune 02-12-2014 10:17 AM

Hey guys the #8 (large shelter) is already booked for both Saturday and Sunday May 3rd & 4th by another group. The only shelters that are open are 1&2.
There is a fishing tournament out of this park from Thursday May 1st until Saturday May 3rd, and the large shelter is rented out Sunday May 4th to another group.

I was advised that there will be many vehicles with boats on trailers and a lot of boat traffic at the docks.

Shelters 3-8 are already reserved for this fishing tournament, the two that are available 1&2 are the farthest away from the water.

Do we want to follow through with Saturday May 3rd and go with Shelter 1 or 2, or change the date????

I will need responses soon

Alphahawk 02-12-2014 10:36 AM

Sounds like might want to change the date. Sounds like it's going to be lots of folks around on the 3rd.

Regards

tkwalker 02-12-2014 12:45 PM

Date change ... <'TK><

Jeremy, My calendar is clear except May 17 ..I'll be in East Tennessee .... <'TK><

I'm good with Shelby, lets hear what everyone else thinks. It was so hard deciding a date with everything that everyone has going on. I've got 30 tournaments on my calendar to try to hit.

SAMBOLIE 02-12-2014 01:47 PM

Shelby if fine.
Merv and I might play golf there after the outing.

MNfisher 02-12-2014 03:55 PM

Keep me updated so I can reserve it.

agelesssone 02-12-2014 05:02 PM

SAMBOLIE, playing golf with me is about as much fun as fishing with you! Neither one is very productive. I am a self professed world's worst golfer!

agelesssone 02-12-2014 05:05 PM

Let's stay away from Saunders Ferry park altogether when they have tournaments. There will be trucks and trailers parked way out into the grassy areas. I'd rather see it held either later or in a different park.

tacklemake 02-12-2014 06:38 PM

We can have it at lock 3 ramp on old hickory lake and the kids can go swimming there and fish too. The little park has nice bathrooms but only one table and it's out in the open and it's free. We just need to bring some tables and chairs and it's right next to the water and their is shade trees..............woody

I can't fish and be a deck hand at the same time. Too bad you are not a good golfer cause you fishing skill ain't so good either. Two strikes already. I bet you can't play baseball either. Strike 3. :):)
