To each his own, I run mine wide open. It's a 93, I have owned it since late 90's and it's been great. To me they were built to run. I say just get used to driving the boat first then go fast, or not.

Nice boat and please wear your PFDs, that is scary fast, things happen very fast at that speed. JPP is a rough lake, wave wise.

Yeah really, As much damage as he did from the bank I think the fish population might be in trouble this coming year.

He spent years standing on the bank casting out to the middle of the lake only to get a boat and ride around casting to the bank he was standing on. :D

Every time I fish from the bank I think about this about half way through my trip...... It hits me and I think why am I throwing out as far as I can when I am in my boat I am usually throwing as close as I can to the bank? I did that Saturday when I was fishing below priest. I was throwing out to the wall and not catching anything, started letting my TM float down the rocks, started catching fish.
