Nice catching Alpha.

This going back to work stuff in Feb has kept me off the water from fishing since mid-end of that month. Looking forward to wetting a line today/tomorrow.

Thanks....I almost sent you a PM last night. I was wondering why I hadn't seen any fishing reports from you in a while. Hope you get on some fish somewhere.

Regards

Hoping to pick them back up again. It's been a transition to say the least staying at home with the kids for last 3 years to M-F grind. Time just disappears.

Planning on fishing Percy from around midnight to lunch time or so tomorrow from the yak. Should be good all signs point to it. Also have to figure out my GoPro by this afternoon. LOL...

My personal best bluegill is 12" caught from a farm pond around 1998 on a whole nightcrawler. I was casting the nightcrawler on a weightless hook and slowly reeling it in. I was trying to catch a bass, which was what I thought I had at first. Dang thing was huge.

LOL....no. I wish....but I rarely fish for large mouth. I do it when I know they will be at certain spots at certain times of the year. In other words...the times they can be easy to catch.

I just missed you at Williamsport - I was eager to try out your advice (which I appreciate greatly) so I got to Blue Cat with my jon boat around 12:30 and fished til 6:30…was so windy on the dam that I was getting blown around but did land two big bluegills twitching a bison Trout Magnet…but due to the wind I went up in a cove and stayed in the less windy area fishing downed trees…I caught 25-30 crappie, black nosed crappie, and bluegill…all on the Bison…it is a machine of a bait for sure…I was using a bobber though to avoid tree branches I was fishing in…using some techniques from Jeff's video…hey, what kind of fish is this in my picture? I caught about five of them, all around 5 to 6 inches…this one had a weird curved scrape on it...all my crappie and bluegill were around 7-9 inches. Thanks again for the tips and advice!

That shine is what they use for monster bass in Florida live lining with a balloon..............woody
