Hey.......I caught croaker and trout throwing a Trout Magnet into the Gulf. :D

Just poking fun, I know those days are rough. It can be a very intimidating lake if you never fished it before.

Sorry you didn't get into any fish. Tough checking out a new lake.

Looks like some type of grebe...loons are much larger with a longer pointier beak.

So grebes are smaller and have a shorter, blunter pecker is what you're saying, Mike ? That's just mean...

That's what I was thinking, looks small for a loon. Loons are pretty big birds.
