Normally I'd be conservative, and recognize perceived authority. But a USACE employee or even an officer, has absolutely zero authority on our river. Aside from a sworn peace officer recognized by the State, if anyone gave me "orders" to stay out of any part of the river, I'd tell them to pinch one off in their hat, and pull it down over their ears. Being "ordered" out by Corps personnel, may actually be a good test.
