Couldn't buy a bite, then when I did finally get bit, my line snapped and I lost the spinner bait Woody gave me.
Next bait I tied on, after a few casts, the bail snapped closed, snapping my line and sending another bait to Davey Jones locker.
I FINALLY connected with a 14.?? Lb'er but was so frustrated by then I couldn't enjoy it.
Not to mention, I'm just an old curmudgeon!

Omg that just thrills me when that happens!!! no better feeling on earth than tying on a bait, rearing back and about the 11:00 position you get the tell tale feeling and "tink" in the line....about 10 seconds later you see your bait splash 100 yards away! day = ruined! lol.
great fish though guys! keep hammering them!

Thanks for helping me out salty, the big yellow letters are much better! Well if Merv is the guide he is doing very well. I hope he charges you, or you at least pay for gas :)

[QUOTE=TroutFiend;61894]I think Merv spotted Sambolie on the bank when he posing for that pic! LOL, great pics guys. Where can j get some of that black rubber flooring?[/QUOTE
]

I got the rubber flooring at Home Depot in the carpet aisle. I think it is $25 or $27 for a three square ft piece.
My boat has some "rhino" type coating that really sucks when it's wet.
Plus fishing in cold weather, it insulates the feet from the aluminum floor.
It is held in place with self tapping screws and fender washers to keep it from blowing out while trailering to the lake.

for a nice mat for the floor of the boat call styx river. Not to expensive, does not hold any water, and is not slick in wet weather, not to hot in real hot weather and I think looks great.
