I'm froze in and bored, so was looking at some outdoor pics and videos. Found this one I did for my daughter a few years back - 16 years of fishing and hunting trips- from her first fish to the bear hunt she went on for HS graduation.
Hope you enjoy it.

btw - the grandparents in the video have gone on to that big crappie set in the sky...

Awesome!
There's no love like what a daughter has for her Daddy and it's easy to see it in this video. Congrats on a wonderful daughter.

Jeff,
Enjoyed your video of raising an outdoor girl. She will always enjoy and respect our freedom to hunt and fish along with a dad like you.
God Bless you

That is quite an awesome reel of highlights you'll never forget!
I've told my wife that due to the amount of testosterone I produce, it's only possible for me to give her boys but in the event I decide to give us a girl, I hope to raise her just the same.

Thanks guys - yes, it was quite a ride, but unfortunately they grow up too fast.
The past few years we haven't had much time to get out with her because college came along and her schedule is all tied up with:
playing NCAA Division 1 Basketball at Belmont University

where she is working on her Doctorate in Pharmacy

But in spite of all that, we still manage to set aside one week a year to continue our traditional Ontario trips.

(Note the President reels)….
I woud URGE YOU GUYS with young kids at home to SPEND ALL THE TIME OUTDOORS WITH THEM YOU CAN. Not only is that a once in a lifetime opportunity to create memories - it has a dramatic effect on the kids development and as to how they view themselves and the world.

Awesome video! Memories that the two of you will never forget. I wish more parents would raise their daughters like you did...seems like every girl I meet in Tennessee acts like she grew up in L.A. and is repulsed by the idea of camping...I mean yuck!

Not to mention them being repulsed by eating wild game or fish caught in our lakes. I've heard so many times "Are fish even safe to eat from Percy Priest?" or my favorite "OMG..like.. how could you kill a deer and eat it? That's just so cruel"

Usually kill it with a bow, sometimes a rifle, plus they are delicious. Trust me, I am sure that I put any deer down way more humanly than a cow at a slaughter house. Plus, they are all natural, GMO, BPA, PPO free, eat a free range diet and get plenty or exercise and fresh air. You think the hippies would be all for it.
