I had the pleasure last night at Bass Pro to attend a seminar giver by Brian Carper on "Proven Spring Bass Patterns". Having only come back to Bass fishing in September 2014 after taking 11 years off, it was great to learn what triggers fish to move out of winter patterns into pre-spawn and spawn patterns and where one might look for them to congregate during the move. Like most animals (deer, bear, birds, etc.) fish interest are few (food, sex and safety). There seasonal habits also change buy just a few things (water temp, hours of daylight, lunar events, atmospheric pressure and conditions). So to my fellow fishermen, to study the habits of your prey is to better understand how to better catch them.

I found it of value and find you need to stand fast as you only have a few post here yet are already defaming a members honest post.
Thanks Jim for the info this is what a forum about fishing should have in it I for one want to know what others think about changes in seasons and the patterns that can be affected.

If I wasn't laid up with the crud would have dropped in on some of those seminars. They put out some good stuff there and it's free. A couple of our members will be there doing some kayak fishing seminars. One can always learn something new and helpful.

Good advice! Following fish in their seasonal patterns and knowing where they all go is 3/4 of the battle!

Thank you all...I try to make my original post of some value to others like me that simply are looking for answers to make them better fishermen. I certainly don't have all the answers but visit this forum to read post from those that do.
Again Thanks, Jim

I have refrained from speaking my mind to CatFishChaser.
I found his post to be quite ignorant and not too well thought out coming from a newbie that hasn't posted any useful, informative, or even funny posts.
Maybe you oughta get to where you are accepted by the general population of this forum before you go impugning the posts of a man who has 58 relative posts to your 3 posts in 3 months, none of which are particularly relevant or informative or humorous.
Enjoy your visit here as a few more posts like the last one may find you on the outside looking in.

Hunter bear from Hendersonville ... I take this as sarcastic, with no respect .. You would think a 40 year old kid like yourself would have more respect to launch such posts as yours ... We have better things to do than waste time with an inconsiderate person as you ... I was going to say Moron But I have more couth than you ... Good Bye, forever .... <'TK>< :)
