I'll be speaking at 4pm at the Bass Pro Shops in Nashville both Saturday and Sunday. I would appreciate anyone who would want to come out and listen. I'll be talking about strategies of kayak fishing, but it kinda pertains to all fishing. It would be a great date afternoon for you and your Valentine.

How exactly do I convince my wife this is a good Valentine's Day date?

Tell her that if she goes with you, you will buy less.... thus more money to spend on her! Happy Valentines Day! My wife is babysitting for half the day Saturday while I am fishing. I asked her last night what she wanted me to cook for our Valentines day dinner. I was expecting some Italian dish, NOPE she wants me to throw a pork butt on the smoker that morning :) She's a keeper.

Very nice! I have a shirt that says "I like PIG butts and I cannot lie" that I got at the Bacon and Bourbon festival in October.

Sorry for the side tracking of the thread Jeremy.
Jimmy, we print, design and mange merch for the entertainment/novelty store industry. When you mentioned that shirt thought maybe one of ours made its way to a FishingTn member.
Wish I could make it out to hear you Jeremy. I need to get out there and buy a bait clicker reel but not going to have the funds this weekend.
Knock'em dead and slip some KBFTN series references or two in there.

Sorry for the side tracking of the thread Jeremy.
This forum is known for that, looks how many directions the Kayak Wars thread has gone haha.
Jeremy, I'm sure you'll do great and represent the yak anglers well. I'm going to try and be there. I always have something I "need to buy" at BPS anyway.

Yes, this forum loves to thread hijack! I apologize for all the hijacks I have led, I blame the my beard. I also think that is one of the reason's I enjoy it so much, just seems like a bunch of guys shooting the sh... stuff. Jeremy I am sure you will do great, from what I can tell you seem to be a great ambassador for the kayak community.

Hmmm... I do remember the fiasco started over a guy who claimed his catfish weighed 30 pounds and someone called BS on it. Is that what this is referring to?

Yeah, lol it started out with the 9lb rainbow that someone caught and then escalated into all of that.

Okay, Guys, Lets stick to the subject ... If you want to start a new thread so be it ... But running off post/thread hacks a lot of original posters off and I will admit I am guilty as most ... But I am trying to correct my evil Ways ... ...
IE ... Jeremy a staff member who helps monitor the spammer board .. is one of the most honest and hardest workers we have on this site so he deserves the respect from our members , as well as any other members who posts .. ... ... IE ... Ageleeesone for example a while back ... I didn't blame him a bit for blowing his top .. ...
A funny and gig now and then (Sambolie understands ;)) is good comradelier but not at the expense of others ... I think we really got off base with Tee shirts and pigs, etc.. ... Move that to another forum <'TK>< :)

Yesterday afternoon was a great seminar, we had 15 or so guys show up, and this seminar is geared toward people deciding if they want a kayak, the tools we uses, advantages, and disadvantages.
We are doing the seminar again today at 4PM in front of the aquarium. We will add a little more today, so please come out if you're interested in fishing skinny waters with little pressure from a plastic watercraft.
The people at Bass Pro were very welcoming and accommodated with whatever we needed.

Sounds like a great time and info that I could use too.
