This has taken up most of my fishing time on weekends. Working on it here and there since beginning of summer. They have been sleeping in the bed for a month or so now.

Here's what 6 sheets of plywood will get you these days. Plus some other materials of course. :D

Ana White Castle Bed Loft customized to a bunk bed.

It is actually three separate pieces (stairs, center, slide) and also the only way to get it in the room.

Here's the final product after the girls helped decorate it and I added about 8 coats of urethane to the slide...for speed. :D

I have a happy 6 & 4 year old now.

You are a great dad. It also seems like you are a good craftsman.

Thanks SAMBOLIE, it turned out pretty good but I would let anyone nose around in there with a framing square too long...:D

The cutting and piecing together wasn't that bad nor was the sanding of it or painting. My biggest road block to work through was per her plans it was finished out somewhere 10'1" or so and my room it was going in minus trim was 9'10.75". Adjusting for it all was time consuming and wrong a couple times. It fits trim to trim though with the final product.
