Pickwick 8-20-2014

Took a break from moving today and headed to Pickwick. To say it was hot is an understatement. I fished all my spots and even though the water had been running all night I could only manage 5 fish. I had two small white bass and 3 large mouth....all same year class. Was told the big whites and stripers were biting from late yesterday evening up until shortly after sunrise this morning. That figures...LOL. The fish are not in the jumps...although that is how I caught two large mouth as they would feed on a wing wall....the other one hit the Kastmaster in a cut back down river. They only did that 2 times and thus 2 large mouth off the wall. All fish were caught on a 1/4 ounce dressed Kastmaster spoon. It was fun but just not enough action.
