Fish was landed somewhere on the Caney between Center Hill Dam and the Cumberland River and was slightly over 3'. Caught on a trout magnet and 2lb test...

WOW! That must have taken forever to land.

Would have. But seriously, caught him on a topwater with 60 lb braid. The float was no joke though, in a canoe, in the fog. We could barely see where we were going, let alone casting. But you know when you get a bite!

I caught and released that same fish, August 10th, 2014 at 3:45 AM!
I'm amazed it would bite again so soon after I had wrassseled it into submission just a few days ago.
Caught it on a trought maggot, bison, I believe, with one pound test SOS line using a 9 ft noodle rod that we normally use up north for steelhead salmon/trout, I don't remember which. But they fiyght pretty guud.
Scuse me, I gotta get 'nother JACK AND cOKE.
