A group of guys showing off their catch of trout on the Cumberland dated 1920's in Stewart County... that be Dover (Barkley Lake) area of the Cumberland. Myth busters maybe...or untold truth's. My grandfather spoke of trout in the Cumberland but not that far downstream.

You can search about anything in the search box. I looked up catfish and there was a 100 lber next to a guy caught in the cumby. Its not limited to fishing though.

I would like to know the whole story on that one also. Can't tell really what kind of fish they are from photo but if those are trout they are some nice ones. I just can't imagine the water that far down stream would be that cold....but who knows. Thanks for posting the link....neat stuff.

The photos of them dynamiting the illegal fish traps on the Caney were awesome.
It looks like the bad guys made a funnel with rocks and then put a trap at the downstream side of the funnel.
