Hey guys, just thought I would share. I took the family to Cape San Blas Florida last week for a week of R&R. Hauled my 16 ft Seark boat down to fish in St. Joseph Bay. We had a great week of fishing and scalloping and eating great seafood. Nothing I love more than raw oysters and I ate a truckload. Even got to fish with my pops for a few days as he and my mom visited with us. Anyway, here are pics with brief explanations. I had lots more pics but this is all the forum would let me post for some reason.

Live pinfish under a popping cork was the ticket. Fishing was great the entire week.

Caught, kept and cooked a limit on a few days.

Over 600 scallops collected in three afternoons of scalloping.

That's awesome. I love scallops! My wife and I are headed to Gulf Shores really soon and I'm bringing my kayak to do a little fishing in the mornings. Those speckled trout are delicious aren't they? I hope to get a few of them for the table. A redfish too.

Yes, they are excellent table fare. We grilled and pan fried them. Both ways were very good but I believe I preferred the pan fried.
