these were in 19 to 21 feet of water. Caught bass out of this school for a total of 4 hours yesterday. Had 20+ bass to measure over 15". Picture doesn't do them justice but I did put 5 in the livewell, let them go, largest was just under 4 lbs on bogas and smallest was 3 lbs. Awesome day for sure, if you know how to fish deeper water it is no problem to catch a pile of bass on Priest right now.

Nice day of fishing right there.

Gonna chase some green fish on OH this weekend and hope to have half as good results. :)

Nice fish but why would you put them in the livewell and then let them go?

I do that so I can get pictures of my keeper fish. You take a picture like that on guntersville and don't specify you released them you may not live to see another day down there

just put them in the livewell for a few minutes to get a picture. I guess I could leave them laying on the deck til I had 5 and then take a picture.

Why would I get into trouble. There is a LEGAL limit in the livewell, nothing else. I would not have over the legal limit in my livewell at guntersville either. So I guess if they can get me for having legal fish in my livewell then I would be in trouble. I guess tournament fishermen need to hide their legal limits or they will get into trouble.

What difference does it make? Tournament fishermen put them in their livewell and ride them around, bouncing around, for up to several hours, then hold them in a bag for however long, weigh them and let them go.

Yea, so they can eventually die while those same tournament fishermen have their noses in the air about their strict "conservationist" support of catch and release fishing. It's ridiculous.

The Guntersville comment was probably referring to the people that get easily butthurt over keeping bass.

If you had them in the livewell just to get a pic of all five I'm sure they're fine. That's why I was wondering.

You are spot on! I was going to keep some from this spring to eat and you would have thought I told the people I was going to go eat small children by the looks I got. I don't care if you keep fish to eat or not, there is a limit for a reason. By the amount of damage we all do to the crappie population every spring I would worry about that fish more than the bass.

still waiting on locations to verify the quality of fish...... :)

apologies then. Thought something else was meant.

Percy Priest, 19-21', old river channel edge. I don't know much else. I "triangulate" to find most all of my fishing spots.

Well in that case, if you could please attach pictures of your Vehicle, Trailer and boat, and post where your going to be launching from and what days....
that way we can all meet you there and say HI....nothing else....just HI! :D

Totally kidding, i dont chase bass too often.
