Does anyone know of a reputable place to have a rod repaired around Nashville? I just need a couple tips and a hook keeper repaired. I've put new tips on myself but it's about impossible to find stuff off the shelf that matches my rods. Price isn't really a concern. Thanks in advance.

Tips are easy, just the glue that comes with the tips.
Guides are a little bit more challenging.
The last guy around here that did such rod repairs was Fisherman's Paradise in Mt. Julliet. He went out of business years ago (and took my Penn salt water reel with him)

You can find some good winter projects here.

Tips are easy, just wish there was a place to fit one before you buy, instead of buying a package and finding out none fit.

Get a tip top gauge off eBay. Then you can order exact size tip.

A couple of months ago, there was a rod gauge behind the fishing counter at BP. The only rod tips they carry come in a package of three different sizes with a tube of cement.
You will have to ask more than one person about the rod gauge.

I build my own rods and have all the necessities for doing it (although due to lack of time, lately I've been slacking) but if you can't find anyone else let me know and I'll try to help any way that I can.I work about 5 minutes from bass pro so we could meet there one day if you want to.
