wore the bass out. They are schooled up tight anywhere from 9 to 16 feet.
Took one picture I thought this one was cool.

Video works, Looks like every place I fished yesterday. It must be the Golden Corral at Priest this week. Every fish is getting their fill of shad.

Yep, they have been doing that starting around 7:15/7:30 pm all over Hamilton creek for a week atleast. Mostly small fish. But a few big busts mixed in.

Fish are still schooled up tight in places. I don't even try to keep count of how many I catch on the drops and humps the last couple trips. I think it is going to change soon but I am enjoying it at the moment.

Nice video. Those fish can be pack in the hundreds it seems this time of year.

I noticed in the background on the fish photo your colored wrap. Is there one kind better than the other or all about the same..... or all about like electrical tape. I have a rod that I love for my trout magnets but it has the straight handle with sliding threaded rings old school style and the reel seat isn't quite long enough. Been using electrical tape but after being in the heat any amount of time it gets sticky.

Bass Pro makes a handle wrap in a couple of different colors. You can also use the stuff that they wrap tennis racket handles in. I have several rods with Tennessee style handles. The reel is secured to the rod with electrical tape. Then covered with the wrap from Bass Pro to protect your hands from the heat and discoloration.

that is colored electrical tape from home depot or lowe's. It does not get "gummy" and holds up really well.

Try using self fusing silicon tape. The tape only sticks to itself. Many folks use that for the sliding rings. I use it on a rod I have with slip rings.
