Was thinking about trying the Stewart Creek area Saturday am to try and find some bluegills. I am looking to launch at either the Fate Sanders marina or the Stewart creek launch. Having never used either launch, do the parking lots fill up fast on the weekends at these launches? Is it necessary to get to the landing super early? I am planning on getting there real early but with a 5 month old at home, plans sometimes change.
Thanks in advance!

By early I hope you are talking 6am or better. Both ramps on weekends are covered up, I mean really crowded this time of year. Try Bryants Grove. It will be crowded too. I went last Sat., a rare weekend fish trip for me, and I launched Poole Knob with lots of room but no dock.
Weekends this time of year on JPP is Barnum and Bailey time.

Fate Sanders is a mad house on the weekends, especially if there is a bass tournament launching out of there. Definitely get out there early. Once this time of year rolls around I commonly am on the water at 4am (I'm a kayak fisherman) and off by 10am just before the morons on jetskis and wakeboards really start to come out. Some are decent but the majority of them are dangerous and inconsiderate, especially of kayakers.
Try less frequented areas like Hamilton Creek and Fall Creek

Ride by west fork ramp today. Really high and muddy. Recommend closer to dam.

I would avoid fate sanders on the weekends if you are wanting to avoid the crowds.

I would put up with the crowd at Fate Sanders way before Bryants Grove or Poole Knob. Way to many break in stories at those 2 ramps.
At Poole Knob even with people on the bank fishing there are people who will still break into your vehicle. That included a cleaned out truck
with absolutely nothing in sight to steal.

I agree. I like to launch at stewarts ferry but if its a saturday morning I just wait till evening fishing. There is little activity around 2-330pm

Thanks for the info all! Being new to the area, I have to learn my way around a bit. Saturday mornings are usually my best bet to fish, so I may need to search for some less pressured spots to go.

What about the Vivrett Creek/7 Points area? Do those launches see a ton of pressure? What about pleasure boats up in that area?
