I had a great time meeting several of you that I've only seen here I the forum up to the tournament. Unfortunately it was apparent early on when my only fish, a 12" LM, jumped right out of my hog trough before I could get photo that the fishing powers that be were not smiling down on moi. If you guys ever want to consider Bledsoe again perhaps we can put in at the bridge off hwy 25. That still gives access to the lake but will cut down on bass boat traffic greatly.
Also, have you thought about Goose Creek in Hartsville? Anyway congrats to the winners. I look forward to seeing you all again at some point.

I was there Saturday. I don't think I met you. My day was just a little better than yours. I caught 4 bass. 2 I didn't take photos of and I had a 12 1/4 and a 10 1/4 for a total of 22 1/2". I started to go out to main channel but didn't.
I think that where most of the fish was caught. I need to work on my soft plastic techniques. Any one want to fish sometime and give me some tip on technique I'll be glad to fish with you. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/t1.0-9/10253755_4159027671336_7470506002958006119_n.jpght tp://https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4159027671336&set=pcb.4159028991369&type=1&theaterhttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4159028831365&set=pcb.4159028991369&type=1&theater

It was great having you guys.
Never give up guys. The young man who took 4th place only had one 15" Saturday and was in around 23rd or 24th place going into Sunday. He changed up his game plan on Sunday and wacked them finishing 4th out of 33 anglers.
With 33 anglers it would be to difficult with everyone putting in at the bridge, and also we had several anglers who made the paddle to the fish and they didn't catch anything, and we had several anglers who spoke with the boat guys and they weren't catching anything up at the bridge. Most of all the fish were caught closer to the Cumberland River.
As far as Goose Creek, I think it would be difficult coordinating 30+ anglers on a creek. We have thought about this and are still thinking about a river tournament, not this year, but in the future. I just want to have all the logistics thought out. One thing with the tournaments I don't want a disaster by putting 30+ kayaks on a body of water that cannot handle it. For 30+ kayaks you need several hundred acres not to be on top of one another.
Thanks for the suggestions and please keep them coming.
It was good seeing you both out there and I hope to see you both at more. Thanks for your support.
