Going to head back to Normandy here in a little while and see if the crappie have realized it's spring time and that they're suppose to be hungry. Come by and say "hey" if anyone here is going to be out there.I'll be in a 20' Shearwater center console.Report to come later today.

Thinking I should just stick to fishing saltwater, or atleast somewhere other than Normandy.

Could you find the fish in brush and trees and just not get them to bite?

From what I was seeing, they were still deep and had lock jaw.I figured with the warmer weather last week, they'd have move up shallow, apparently not the case, lol. Still had fun I guess, saw a bunch of carp cruising the banks and a couple of gar.Ended up putting on a Fluke and caught to spotted bass. Water was unusually clear (atleast to me) you could easily see the bottom in 6' water. Might try again next weekend or just go somewhere else, haven't decided yet.

Probably was me,I was all over the place looking for something that was hungry, lol.Guess I'm going to have to go to JPP to see what a crappie looks like, but with all this rain it may be a while.Might havget the catfish poles out with all the high water.
