When out of Cedar Creek today. Cedar Creek was very stained water temp 57. Decided to fish for Bass and Crappie. I caught one keeper Crappie on my first Brush pile in Cedar Creek In about 10-12 FOW with 1/8 oz jig Brown body Chartruse tail. Water just seemed to be to stained. So I went to Cages bend where the water was 60 and so much clearer. Be careful still a lot of wood floating around in the channel. Ended up catchting 2 Bass in shallow water, no keepers, on Crappie magnet and shad rap. I trolled jig and crankbaits for a while with no bites. Then worked a larger brush pile area with jigs and crappie magnets. Thought they would be there but I was wrong. Also threw chatterbait, Football jig, DT 10 crankbaits off a few points. I talked to one guy fishing off his dock he said the Crappie were here before the storm the other night..now they are gone. I have a buddy who has done well in Drakes Creek lately mostly 2-6 FOW. The water was around 62 in Drakes.
