Hi Sambolie,
Do we need any special permission to fish in this area? Or, can I just park nearby and walk to the creek?

Dang. I should have known (April 1), although I didn't notice the TARP qualifier length.. I fished there for over an hour there yesterday. It felt good to be fishing in formal dress.:) That spot is only 5 min away from my work place..caught two tiny bluegills on TM.
I can fish that spot in my lunch break...does it have any fish there in Mill Creek? Didn't see any big ones except one which I could not identify. It wasn't interested in TM is all I can say.

Thanks. The fish I saw yesterday was neither gar nor bass.
I have seen gar in the part of Mill Creek near Williamson county. That's close to my home, so that's a spot to check out for a quick 30 minute fishing trip on weekends, in case I can't make it to JPP.

C'mon guys! SAMBOLIE catch 8 keeper crappie in one day???
It's absurd to believe he could do that in a month! Fishing every day! For 8 hours a day!
The only way he'll ever catch 8 fish (of any species) will be if I take him by the hand, lead him to the boat, set him in his seat, strap him in, go out trolling, pick up the rod that has a fish on it trying to tear it out of the rod holder, hand it to a blank staring Sambolie, put his hand on the reel handles and start to wind the fish in for him. He usually will give you a mindless giggle and sometimes even reel in a little line. But usually the drool makes the handles slippery and he loses interest pretty quick...especially if a butterfly happens to cruise by.
