I wish I had more time to fish today. Was only able to get out for about two and a half hours. I figured it would be tough after the little front that went through and the high skies but was pleasantly surprised. In two and a half hours, I caught six keeper sized bass including an 18" Smallmouth and this big girl. All were caught between Hobson Pike and the dam. Water had good color on the main lake but was really stained up in Suggs Creek. Warmest water I found was 53 degrees in Suggs Creek and 50-51 on the main lake.
Lake is fishing pretty darn well for bass right now. It took 22lb with 5 fish to win the FLW tournament the other day and two 7lb fish were weighed in.
Of course the batteries in my scale were dead. All were released.
