It was a sunny day, the water was clear down to 3 or 4 feet and at winter pool. I put the Pro Angler in the water around noon and fished riprap banks (the big rock being mostly above water level), rocky points, etc...

I started with the craw colored crank I had success with a couple weeks ago, but found nothing. I was having some trouble with the "8mph" winds, that certainly seemed more like 25 mph. :) I couldn't properly fish the main lake point because the yak was pulled into the main lake in one direction, and pushed against the shore in another direction.
I stayed with it, and later switched to a green pumpkin swimbait. Though the wind was howling, and a huge wave pushed me towards my bait, I was fairly certain I felt a hit on the first two casts. By the time I had reeled in the slack created, there was nothing there. Encouraged, I worked 5' to 6' of water, on a bank which dropped to 12 and 14' very quickly. I had to begin a paddle away from the bank and make my cast. The forward momentum gave me time to work the bait.
I ended up catching over 50 bass, spotted and largemouth, in about 5 hours. None of them were large, 14" being the longest, but they all fought hard and loved that swimbait. Towards evening the wind died down some and I was getting a fish on just about every other cast.
I need to find where the big females are holding, waiting on the spawn, for all of these smaller males.

A friend of mine fished KY lake on Friday and had the same exact luck as you; he said he caught tons of bass but they were all small, not a single keeper.

No matter what the size, if you catch that many fish it's a blast. Good Job!
