jpp lake up 4 ft and the stones r (below the dam) up 11 ft and they have not released water..must be the cumberland backing it up?

Here in Clarksville, the river was about 2 feet shy of overflowing the far bank this morning. Man, that was a torrential amount of rain we got yesterday.
Looks like they are predicting some minor flooding

Yeah, the Cumberland typically backs up to the dam after a big rain.

I was at the Stones River at Kohl's today around 2 pm. River was way up, ( I dont know whats normal ) but it had very little to no flow down stream so it must be backing up from the Cumberland. And it was MUDDY !!!

Yeah, the Cumberland typically backs up to the dam after a big rain.
Can be a good crappie bite when that happens.

Drove over JPP at Jeffferson Pike yesterday. Water is high and muddy with lots of trash floating downstream. Same for Stewarts Creek. We are about two weeks away from fishing if the rain stops.
