Duck River Headwaters

Fished the Duck River Head water for about 30 minutes this afternoon on my way home. On 3rd cast I caught a small bass on a Chartreuse/ Orange TM under a float at about 5' deep. I was casting from the bank, so not sure of water depth. 4th cast my TM landed in the only brush pile in the middle of the river. Lost TM and thrill float. It was the only weighted float I had with me. Tried to rerig but could not cast with out weighted float.
