I know a lot of people quit fishing when it gets cold, but they are missing out. Our Tennessee musky really get fired up in the winter and it's the best time of year to catch a giant. Here are a couple from this month. Both fish came on glide baits. The first is a 47 incher from the Caney Fork, the other is a 49 incher from the Collins River. The fishing should continue to get even better over the next few months.

Awesome fish. I have a few days left to scratch Muskie off my list for 2013, so I'll probably be needing some pointers really soon, lol.

Nice ones.

What's your typical rod/reel setup for those dudes?

Travis, I use 8-9ft extra heavy action rods with revo toro reels spooled with 65lb test braid. 175lb test steel leaders. I use the same set-up for striper minus the leader.
