old hickory lake fishing report 10/27/2013

I got out today and what a great a it was. It started off on the colder side but with no wind or fog. I was on the water at 6:30 Am and started trolling with the #5 perch rap and hook one LM bass and one crappie and lost both at the boat. Then I went into the cove and in the right fork in the back the bait fish were along the shore line and I caught some in the cast net and live line the rest of the day right there. I caught two more LM bass, three catfish, a nice drum and a yellow bass. Then it started to warm up and the fish turn off and then I look at the time and it was 2:00 Pm time to go. I will be back out tomorrow for some more fun and all the fish I caught today I let go for smeone else to catch..................woody

Nice report Woody...pretty bass. Looks like it's going to be some good weather this week.

Good variety of fish there...it sure was a nice day to be out today.

You could start a band with all those drums and fiddlers you catch. Heck, you could start an orchestra.

now thats a good show of fish all on one lure OHB is one of my fav's to fish area's go out of cedar and shutes run up to drakes and fish on back always good fishing times
