Is seven points ramp open 24 hrs? I might head there very early, but don't want to come to a locked gate. I know it's closed over winter, but don't know if they close it every night.

There's nothing for you to be poking around over there for...:D

Well good thing when my alarm went off at 3:30 i checked the radar and saw all the rain coming. I don't like rain in the yak. Back to bed I went. Maybe tomorrow I will try in this area which supposedly has no fish :D

Yet some clouds and rain would have been ideal for my targeted species...

I was on Priest yesterday to go cliff jumping and it rained like crazy...felt like sleet...there were lots of people camping on all the islands, and they got slammed with some rain. I hope they got out of there this morning before this storm hit that we are getting now (at least where I am north of Franklin).

I live right by Seven Points -The ramp is open 24/7 365 days. If you're into crappie to the right of the ramp a 100 yrds or so...I've NEVER had any luck bank fishing from the ramp area.

I wonder why I thought it was closed in winter. I was gonna put the kayak in and search for fish in the jumps.

I regularly see kayaks in the back of trucks head down there. Just saw a couple leaving about 10 mins ago. Also saw a truck with a canoe on top and two on a trailer yesterday. I was a nice set-up. I just throw my canoe in the back of the truck...see you out there sometime- or least drive by!
