New TM colors to try on Caney and Elk soon

Got some new colors of Trout Magnets to try.
One is killer Klat,silvery color with a little blue tint, and one that is a bright gold and bright orange.Top half gold and tail is orange.
Will get back on the results soon.

The gold/orange looks interesting. I believe I know where some crappie are that will like that color.

Speaking of gold, when it comes to the jig head colors is there a better time to use the gold over colored or silver? I always use black but have ran out and either need to get more right away or just use up the gold or silver first. You TM guru's experience any difference jig head color to catch ratio with gold or silver?

Travis, not that I'm the expert here Lol!! but I do seem to have better luck with black jig heads than all others combined!!, I actually painted/covered some of the gold and silver ones with black jig head paint so I can actually use them!

I started using black only several years back. I may be shorting myself some fish but that is all I use. I have never tried to see if on certain days one is better than the other. But I do have to say when trout fishing I will have some gold and silver with me. tcintn has taken the time to try certain combinations....to include turning one side up or down on TM's that are two colors. He has some interesting results from doing that.....and as far as catching trout with a T M I certainly listen to him. If you have ever seen him on the Caney with that 9 foot rod and fishing the T M under a float it is pretty impressive to watch him. I think today he caught 30 to 35 in just a few hours of no generation.

They both worked very well.
Used gold jig head with the gold/orange
Used silver and black jig heads with Killer Klat
Killer Klat worked best in 18"-24" deep water.
orange/gold worked in all depths
I do not twitch so I do not how they would work twitching
