OH conditions

had to take a trip out when the rain stopped, like a itch needing to be scratched. Only went about a third way down Drakes Creek and the water wasn't to bad, temp dropped down to high 70's. In the main channel upstream...low 70's with some current moving. I tried catfishing in Drakes and in current in main channel with no luck. Cut shad on bottom and using jugs. I will try again in the morning!!

I've been trying from the bank in different places on OH and Cheatham. I've been gettin skunked this year as well when it comes to catfish. Better luck next time and let us know if ya get em figured out please!

I used a 1/32oz jig with a small white twister tail under a float about 12"and I was working the shallow areas where I seen bait running. By popping the float and pulling the jig making it look like a fish had just hit it and the bait was trying to get away and letting it sit between pulls the catfish were nailing it. They weren't real big around 18" but catfish do chase bait................woody
