I went Saturday morning and fished from about 9:30am til about 11:00am.
It was extremely windy. I only brought my topwater rod. i caught 3 on frogs then tied on my MS Slammer because the fish were so active and caught my first fish ever on it. Nothing really big, but lots of fun!

Let us know how you do. I have still not caught a smallmouth yet.

Fish don't have to be big to have fun....IMHO. Looks like you had a great time.....pretty colors on the bass too.

I agree with ya Alphahawk! Ive sat at Bartons Creek a few times and wore out the gills, nothing of any keeper size, but lots of fast action!
