The moon and the stars aligned for me, my partner Sam Simons and Craig Smith Saturday. First time of the season Sam was able to net some live threadfin shad. We used them to find the Mother Lode of bass, although some fish caught on store-bought shiners as well. But most and bigger fish preferred the natural live bait. Our biggest was 7.5 lbs.

The bull bluegill are doing their thing below Chickamauga as well.

The places (or place) we can fish right now with spill gates open are extremely limited. And the catfishing is still very tough due to extreme high flow conditions.
But there is always something to catch. Sam has some open dates in the next few weeks. Don't count on bass like these every trip. There are a lot of variables. But I guarantee me and/or Sam will do all we can to be sure you have the best trip possible. www.ScenicCityFishing.com (http://www.ScenicCityFishing.com)
