Caught a very nice Gill Cracker today at Williamsport.....half blue gill half red ear. Fought like crazy and was very close to one pound. That is all I caught though. This weather is killing me with the Gills.

Fish carver......Carved wooden fish. This is a pumpkinseed that I did recently in a class. I'm also working on a few natural finish bluegills.

Good looking work. I read about fish carving last night. Some of the work looked life like.....would be the way to go for a trophy replica but I can only imagine the cost.

That's a beautiful fish, Alpha. You sure do get into some nice-sized ones! That one makes the ones I was catching today look like bait :)

Thanks for all of the nice compliments. That's 4 1/2 days of work in that pumpkinseed. There's a whole day in just burning the scales.
Sorry Alphahawk. I didn't mean to interrupt your thread.
