2013 FishingTN Gathering !! <'TK><

First off let me thank the committee That saved the 2012 Gathering which the ball was dropped by the originator TNJUG ... Thanks toooooo ... MidTNYak, GreasyHam, MNFisher, JIm (Jim wasn't on the committee but should have been)

Okay I have been asked about 2013 gathering by a number of members ... Why Not ?? .. We can do one or more of these ... Spring, Summer, Fall ...

With this said ... It takes a number of folks to make this successful ... "A committee" we are looking for committee members ... and we need a "Daddy Rabbit" to lead the committee and looking for volunteers ... after members have volunteered ... we will meet at my place and have a meeting and distribute responsibility's ...

I will contribute stickers/decals and support and suggestions and help in organizing ... But this is a membership effort ...

Now reflecting on the first Gathering ... I think we need to concentrate on the get togather and the food ,and some great membership Pictures !! ... and not fishing competition for the day ...

Danny Robinson (Web Master) and the Grill Master for the Grill and Jim for the Fish Fries ... We can have all species of fish brought from the freezers from members... and I will make fresh fried potatoes ... Lets hear from you !!! Who wants to help ??? who will volunteer to be the Daddy Rabbit, the head Mackerel, the King Fish !! , La Shrimp Deligance !! ??? A great responsibility and it takes someone that can get the job done !!

If you don't want to volunteer for the King Mackerel Job ... Just volunteer for the committee and I will pick you .... <'TK>< :eek:

I am definitely interested in a gathering! Maybe an early summer one? I will for sure take pictures and will take on other responsibilities. I have to wait on being the "Mack daddy" to see what my wife's schedule is like this year.

Just kidding but I'm all for this gathering and would love to attend if the date is right. Last time I couldn't make it. Through this site I've made two great fishing buddies and would love to meet more. Let's make it happen!

And I'm bringing my dog too, my new fishing buddy! Ashlyn and I rescued a lab/patterdale terrier mix. He'll make friends with everybody.
