I am going to introduce Mike Patterson tomorrow prior to talk time if at all possible. He has asked for a just a couple minutes of your time.
To help defeat this, it will be worth what he has to say.
He along w with Judge White, have spent many hours and lost lots of sleep over this.
Mike is retired from the Corps of Engineers.
Also, Got a copy of the Senator's radio interview on FD.

Mike Butler of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, Cumberland River fishers
NASHVILLE, Feb. 20 – U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander will hold a press conference tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 21) at the Old Hickory Dam with Ed Carter of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and Mike Butler of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, and other members of the community concerned about the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ plan to limit fishing in tailwaters below dams on the Cumberland River. Details and directions follow.
DATE / TIME:
The press conference will begin at 11:00 a.m. Central on Thursday, Feb. 21, rain or shine (in case of serious weather, the event will be moved inside).
LOCATION:
The press conference will be held on the Cumberland River at Old Hickory Dam, in sight of the tailwater fishing area below the dam that the Corps seeks to restrict.
Detailed instructions follow:
From Nashville, take I-65 North. Exit at Old Hickory Boulevard (Exit 92) toward Madison. Travel approximately 4 miles on Old Hickory Boulevard and make a left on Bridgeway Avenue. Follow signs to Old Hickory Dam via “Tailwater Access Area.” From Bridgeway Avenue, make a left onto Ensley Avenue. At the end of Ensley Avenue, take a left onto Swinging Bridge Road. Take the second right onto Cinder Road. When you enter the recreation area, turn left at the fork and go to the end of the road to the tailwater boat ramp parking lot. Parking is also available in the lot closer to the lock.
