This was sent just a few minutes ago by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation after discussions with Senator Alexander's office.
Here are the written direction:
This Thursday's public event with U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, the Tennessee Wildlife Federation and the TWRA will be held at 11 a.m. at the Old Hickory Dam tailwater boat ramp. Directions follow.
From Nashville, take I-65 North. Exit at Old Hickory Boulevard (Exit 92) toward Madison.
Travel approximately 4 miles on Old Hickory Boulevard and make a left on Bridgeway Avenue.
Follow signs to Old Hickory Dam via "Tailwater Access Area."

From Bridgeway Avenue, make a left onto Ensley Avenue.
At the end of Ensley Avenue, take a left onto Swinging Bridge Road.
Take the second right onto Cinder Road. When you enter the recreation area, turn left at the fork and go to the end of the road to the tailwater boat ramp parking lot.
Parking is also available in the lot closer to the Lock.
