Rick,

I agree with you and I will follow suit on my end.

I know that T.K. sure has been proud of you and admires your intellect. I do too, but I love your
tenacity. We have a ways to go, but I don't think cables are going down in the next 30 days.

If they do, this COE group would have stepped way outside a boundary I would not think it would
consider--not in these economic times especially.

While I agree that Wade White is the point of the spear---I also want to know that Livingston County Executive Chris Lasher has
been a part of of this journey, too.

Great work. We got a ways to go but I'm still a believe we can beat this and that now we know 100 percent where we have

to go to get this done. That was actually the bed tying to come out of last night's meeting at McGavock.

Thank you Rick and T.K.
Doug M.

P.S. I went fishing today. So, I'm just now getting around to emails.

Through whatever forums you gents reside over, I’d recommend that we encourage everyone with vested interest in Corps’ intentions, to call or write the legislators who stood up for the cause, and just say “Thanks” – But it ain’t over ‘til its over.

I’ve sent my notes to Cooper’s office (Zack), and to the Alexander email. I go on now and do the same for Black, and others.

I’d also recommend that we offer our profound thanks to Wade White, as the point-of-the-spear. And - not to be forgetting how I became aware of all this, I thank both of you gentlemen, from the heart of my bottom, for getting me involved with a cause worthwhile.

Next steps: An informal news letter? A dedicated web site? PAC?

What would really help, is for a Johnny Morris to step in with a bag full of money and a tireless lobbyist. That usually cures everything.

I’ll go back to thanking some of the people I don’t even like now...
